We match volunteers with seniors based on shared interests, needs, and availability. Our goal is to ensure that each pairing fosters a meaningful and supportive relationship. We take into account both the preferences of the senior and the skills and interests of the volunteer.
At Elderly-CareConnect, we are aiming to MATCH educated, empathetic youth from the ages of 18+ yrs., WE CALL THEM “YOUNGSTARS” to healthy retirees WHO WE CALL GOLDENAGERS, based on likes/dislikes/common interests/social backgrounds/language and geographical proximity.
We get to know a lot about both parties as they are made to fill up a detailed form about themselves and their requirements. The YOUNGSTARS are certified by credible sociologists and psychologists about their mental and social make. A stringent process is followed to get to know their objective and temperament too. Thorough background checks are also conducted and an approval from their parents is a must. A similar process is also followed to get to know the aim and disposition of the GOLDENAGERS.
Is this a paid service?
Yes, it is a paid service.
Our primary goal is to provide support and care to seniors. For detailed information about any potential costs or financial assistance options, please contact us directly. We are committed to making our services as accessible as possible.
The first 15 days is a trial period which is completely free. However, after that one can choose to continue with a paid membership. Incase of dissatisfaction, one may choose to discontinue the services. If issues arise after subscription, we will not return membership fees.
How do you ensure safety of the patrons?
Our prime aim is to ensure safety for both YOUNGSTARS and GOLDENAGERS. Our background checks are through, and members of our organization always conducts regular checks to see if everything is running satisfactorily.
What kind of training do volunteers receive?
Volunteers receive comprehensive training to ensure they are well-prepared to support and engage with seniors effectively. Training covers communication skills, understanding the needs of the elderly, and how to create positive, supportive interactions. They are also trained to take care in emergencies like providing CPR, administering first aid, helping out in a heart attack etc.

The GOLDENAGER has many benefits –

Yes, we do help out in emergencies. All YOUNGSTARS are taught basic first aid and CPR. Our website is connected to quick dial services in hospitals, ambulances and general physicians. We are also connected to local diagnostic centers and pharmacies to help out a GOLDENAGER. Apart from medical emergencies, we also help out in connecting you with local handymen.
